As a Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will support the development of Government Test and Evaluation (T&E) methodologies and systems integration to include strategy, master plans, test plans & procedures, test readiness reviews, and reporting. You will work with other organizations to support T&E program integration and provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, levels, maturity, and performance as assigned in the statement of work (SOW). You will develop tests against system requirements, interact and oversee other members of the technical staff, perform testing of electronic assemblies, systems, software, and networks. The ideal candidate must have the ability to perform functional and system analysis during test planning.

The Systems Integration & Test Engineer must comprehend the engineering process, from design to production, must be capable of technical management, and leading a test team involved in the verification phase of a project. The ideal candidate must adapt quickly to alternating priorities and requirement changes, with the ability to manage both while meeting deadlines. They need to be forward thinkers who have the ability to work independently, are self-motivated, and require minimal direction and/or supervision with a high probability of mission success. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently or as a project lead of up to 10 peers.

The Systems Integration & Test Engineer designs, sets up, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots multiple test environments. You will develop testing methodologies and protocols – implement approaches & practices to facilitate testing standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will perform, analyze, and verify resolutions to anomalies – determine system validity with measured behavior against system requirements.

You’re required to have this

  • At least eight (8) years of experience as a Systems Integration & Test Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Four (4) years of additional test & evaluation experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • This position requires the successful candidate to have and maintain an active federal security clearance, TS/SCI clearance with a poly

    You Could Also Have This

  • Proficient with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and other various electronic equipment.

  • Ability to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose & resolve problems with test equipment and associated software.

  • Electronics experience with analog & digital topology.

  • Proven knowledge of Ethernet networking concepts, technology, and architectures.

  • Linux experience is a plus.

  • Scripting experience is a plus – LabVIEW, JAVA, Python.
