TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced Patient Service Coordinator to work in the Columbia, MD area.

The PSC will be responsible for:

• Patient registration and scheduling

• Insurance verification and coordination of services for patients

• Charge entry and reconciliation functions

• Co-payment and daily cash receipt responsibilities

• Handling referrals

• Providing front office coverage and assistance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Candidates must possess:

• High school Diploma or State Qualified GED

• MUST HAVE 1-2 years of medical experience (preferably in a front desk setting)

• Previous EMR experience

• One to two years Customer Service Experience (receptionist experience a Plus)
