ARSIEM is currently looking for a Network Engineer . This position will support one of our Government clients in Columbia, MD.
Responsibilities
Performs network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading existing networks.
Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents.
Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration.
Schedules conversions and cutovers.
Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents.
Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice, and Video)
Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale communication infrastructures.
Assists telecommunications end users, operations personnel, and strategic program management with network interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications
Eight years of relevant professional experience providing network engineering support, including documented experience with Juniper switches and firewalls, is required.
A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or five additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree, totaling 13 years.
An IAT level 2 certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) is required.
Clearance Requirement : This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
