Summary Description: The Residential Life Coordinator-Housing Programs Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Housing Operations to coordinate all aspects of the housing operations including room assignments, housing selection, and summer operations. This position will directly supervise Lead Front Desk Assistants and Front Desk Assistants (student staff). This position will also oversee off campus housing and provide support for off campus students.

Anticipated Salary Range: Minimum of $55,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Housing Operations:

In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Housing Operations, manage multiple housing processes. Coordinate student summer housing including Extended Stay, Gap Housing, Summer Session, Pre-College, Stroud, and Early Arrival housing. Coordinate the design, management, and maintenance of department's website and other marketing/communications collateral materials, including brochures, maps, and social media.

Student Education & Experience:

Coordinate off-campus/commuter student programs, serve as an initial resource for off-campus students, and create and maintain resources for off-campus/commuter students. Serve as a conduct officer for minor and mid-level conduct issues. Serve as an on-call staff member for the department and the Division of Student Life as needed.

Staffing & General:

Recruit and supervise Lead Front Desk Assistants and Front Desk Assistant student staff teams. Be present and available to work during annual all-campus events and celebrations: New Student Orientation, Family Weekend, Homecoming, Halloween, Llamapalooza, Commencement, and hall openings and closings.

Additional Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree; experience working with college students or student leadership experience; basic computer skills, and an understanding of college student development; excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one year of full-time work experience in a college or university setting; experience with StarRez Housing Software or similar housing management system; experience responding to crisis in an on-call capacity; student conduct enforcement and/or adjudication experience. Master's degree in Student Affairs or a related field and prior residential life experience in a liberal arts college environment.
