Role Description: As a Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in our organization's success by negotiating pre-award terms and conditions, assisting in pricing efforts, and reviewing and revising various agreements. You will collaborate closely with all segments of the business providing valuable insights and support to ensure successful contract development and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting, excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities: Negotiate pre-award terms and conditions and price for contracts Assist in pricing efforts and develop estimates in support of project scoping Review, revise, and redline NDAs, teaming agreements, and other agreements Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and other segments of the organization, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction with contract execution Develop agreement language and templates as necessary Take initiative and be proactive with self-starting projects or taskings Execute contract modifications, amendments, and extensions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Understand obligations of contracts and act as advisor to company regarding contractual terms and conditions Utilize analytical skills, negotiation experience, and written communication to effectively perform job duties Oversee and manage the administration of contracts from the point of award through contract closure Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all contract-related documents and correspondence Travel Expectations/Requirements: Expected travel 0% - 25% The listed responsibilities are not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the evolving needs of the organization. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is able to adapt and take on new responsibilities as they arise. Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in government contracting Strong understanding of contract management principles Well experienced in pre-award and post-award activities Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with estimating and price analysis Proven track record of taking initiative and being proactive Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience working in a remote work environment
