Mold Setter

2nd Shift | 3PM-11:30PM

Monday - Friday

We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join a leading manufacturer and distributor in the Tulsa Metro area. The Mold Setter is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining molds used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of molding machines, ensuring high-quality production and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and adjust molds on injection molding machines according to production specifications.

  • Ensure proper alignment and calibration of molds.

  • Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds and machines.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold operation and product defects.

  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

  • Document setup procedures, production data, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mold setting or related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Mold Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of molding processes, machinery, and mold maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
