National Archives and Records Administration MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in College Park, Maryland

Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Research Services Office. The incumbent will serve as an expert level analyst and provide Research Services' senior leadership with objectively based information for making decisions. The incumbent will carry out complex professional assignments involving internal and external communications, web pages, social media, training, and other activities in Research Services Central Office. Responsibilities As a/an MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST, you will: Develop, analyze, and evaluate a wide variety of programs, policies, procedures, associated goals and objectives, and mission operations. Plan, develop, and communicate the organization's programs, policies, and activities, both internally and externally. Assist in the development and communication of informational materials for a variety of audiences. Carry out complex professional assignments involving internal and external communications, web pages, social media, and other related activities. Assist in the development and implementation of staff training and development. Requirements Conditions of Employment The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Public Trust background investigation will be required. Qualifications You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Preparing and delivering analytical findings in narrative or other reports; AND Researching, planning, and implementing communications at the organizational level for both internal and external audiences, and/or distribution to a wide audience; AND Developing and/or managing content for web pages and/or social media accounts; AND Responding to internal and/or external inquiries on subjects of importance at the organizational level. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F): For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
