Requisition Summary This position is based at Peterbilt's Warranty Return Center (WRC) in Renton, Washington. The WRC tests warranty returns and communicates findings with PACCAR engineering teams, suppliers, and warranty departments, to improve product design, manufacturing, and troubleshooting. This WRC Process Analyst is responsible for improving department processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role involves monitoring and assessing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize department output. The WRC Process Analyst will collaborate with internal functions to ensure stakeholders have the information needed to identify the root cause of warranty issues and to support adjudication of claims. Job Functions / Responsibilities Evaluate existing processes, including developing and conducting regular audits, to identify bottlenecks, discrepancies, and areas of improvement Collaborate with internal functions to develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, including enhancing tracking systems, reducing processing time, and improving data accuracy Complete gage R&R studies for high frequency No Defect components and when onboarding new technicians Coordinate with engineering to improve testing write ups to support root cause investigations Coordinate with division warranty and technicians to improve testing write ups to support chargebacks and supplier recovery Assist division warranty with technical appeal inquires Assist with department training, which may include the development of written material, one-on-one coaching, or formal classroom instruction Assist with receiving, shipping, and testing as needed Qualifications Prior mechanical and/or diesel engine experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and address process deficiencies Proficient in utilizing data to identify trends and areas of improvement Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with ability to communicate with people of varying technical expertise Ability to work independently as well as be a team player Understanding of warranty processes, including dealer warranty administration, claim adjudication, and part return analysis preferred Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field required.
