HADC Services, LLC Resident Assistant - Evergreen Knoll in Cloquet, Minnesota

As a Resident Assistant at Evergreen Knoll, you will be a part of a supportive team helping to enrich the lives of our seniors and put a smile on their faces.  It’s not just a job!  It’s rewarding and fun!

Responsibilities

  • Help seniors with their personal cares including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming.

  • Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning, dusting, trash removal, etc.

  • Pass medications and supervise the resident's self-administration as directed.

  • Observe residents and report changes in physical and emotional condition.

  • Assist with meals and provide feeding assistance if needed.

  • Encourage and assist residents to participate in established activity program.

  • Provide redirection and use behavior management techniques as needed.

    Shifts/Hours

  • 2p -10p, full-time and part-time, including every other weekend.

  • 6a – 2p, full-time, including every other weekend.

    Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00+ based on experience.

    • +$0.50 for CNA certification and +$1.00 for both CNA and TMA certifications!

    • Shift differentials for 10p - 6a and weekends!

    -Tuition reimbursement available for new CNA and TMA certification, and other post-secondary education degree programs including nursing.

    Experience not necessary, we will provide all the training and support you need to be a successful and valuable member of our team.

    Must perform all required job tasks as trained and directed and respect the confidentiality and personal privacy of residents.

    Because our care staff play an important role in providing day-to-day care and assistance to our residents, it is critical that our employees work as scheduled, and provide appropriate notice and shift replacement when they can't.

    In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

    Prior to starting work, all employees are required to pass a criminal investigation as solely determined by the State of Minnesota.  We cannot employ anyone who does not successfully pass the background study.
