Position Summary

The Sustainability Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of Parker Hannifin’s sustainability initiatives. This position involves data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with various functions to ensure that sustainability practices are integrated across Parker. This position will report to the Sustainability Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

· Data Collection & Analysis:

o Gather, analyze, and interpret sustainability data from various sources.

o Monitor and report out on key external trends that may influence or impact Parker’s sustainability program.

o Actively manage and monitor ESG ratings, data reporting, feedback and continuous improvement .

o Conduct benchmarking studies to compare Parker’s sustainability performance against industry standards .

· Reporting & Communication:

o Communicate sustainability performance and initiatives through presentations, reports, and other communication channels.

o Manage communication channels and collaborate with Corporate Communications to manage external sustainability communications (i.e., Sustainability website, statements, etc.)

o Assist in the preparation of the annual sustainability report, including data verification and narrative development.

· Compliance & Risk Management:

o Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability regulations and standards,

o Identify potential sustainability risks and opportunities and propose improvement strategies.

· Stakeholder Engagement:

o Engage with internal and external stakeholders to collect sustainability (ESG) information and promote initiatives.

o Establish and maintain relationships with the ESG rating’s managers associated with Parker’s industry sector.

o Participate in sustainability-related meetings, workshops, and conferences.

· Program Support:

o Work closely with relevant Parker functions and support activities associated with their sustainability efforts. This may include data collection and management, training, and support for ensuring compliance with Parker’s program sustainability expectations.

o Provide general support on program management and deployment across the enterprise.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related science or engineering field.

· 2+ years of experience in sustainability, EHS, environmental science, or a related field preferred.

· Volunteer work in a sustainability related field is also a plus.

· Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.

· Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and legislation (e.g., CDP, SASB, CSRD, etc.)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment while setting priorities and meeting deadlines.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as the ability and desire to consistently meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations is required.

· Flexibility and strong desire to be part of a successful team is required.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to analyze and solve complex problems as they arise.

· Ability to be mobile preferred
