OMJ|CC is sourcing for a Facilities Manager role for a Cleveland Employer. Overview: Facilites Manager oversees property maintenance and upkeep, responsible for executing routine maintenance tasks, managing general repairs, janitorial services, and collaboration with external contractors for specialized tasks. Responsibilities: Scheduled Maintenance Change filters in HVAC units according to schedule Inspect and replace fire alarm batteries according to schedule. Test and replace emergency lighting batteries as required. General Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks on properties, including: Changing locks, replacing faucets, repairing doors and windows, patching walls and painting during unit turnovers, replacing toilets and sinks, repairing or replacing light fixtures, fixing minor electrical issues, addressing plumbing leaks and clogs, repairing or replacing flooring as needed. Other duties: Conduct janitorial duties for offices and common areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards. Perform window washing and power washing of building's exterior to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics. Ensure parking lots are free of debris and oversee landscaping maintenance. Collaborate with external contractors for licensed repair work in electrical, plumbing, roofing, ect. Supervise their activities to ensure quality and timely completion. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment essential for maintenance tasks. Drive company vehicle to various properties as needed. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations at all times. Be available for emergencies/situations outside normal working hours. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required: additional vocational training or certification in facilities management or a related field preferred. Demonstrated experience in facilities management, property maintenance or a relevant field. Profound knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time. Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to work independently. Excellent communication skills and professionalism in interactions with tenants, contractors and colleagues. Flexibility to accommodate emergency response situations beyond regular working hours.  Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-5pm. Emergency response may be required after normal working hours.
