Title: EBI Database Developer II- Safety, Quality and Patient Experience

Worksites: Main Campus, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195 (hybrid position with some telecommuting permitted).

Duties: The EBI Database Developer II- Safety, Quality and Patient Experience at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus in Cleveland, OH (9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland OH 44195) assists and supports the overall database needs of the Clinic. He or she develops, maintains, and enhances MS SQL and Teradata databases and applications for internal purposes and customer reporting. The EBI Database Developer II works in a team of database developers, software developers and business analysts responsible for delivery of database analytics and web based applications. Additional duties of the EBI Database Developer II include the following: administering existing databases and the analysis, design, and creation of new databases; performing data modeling, database optimization, understanding and implementing of schemas; interpreting and writing complex code; and proactively monitoring systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints. He or she also designs, implements and supports ETL processes and batch scripts; works with physical and logical design of database architecture; develops and maintains Tableau dashboards and reports; establishes database development standards, documentation and best practices; manages and maintains the division server; handles multiple projects while supporting existing production databases and processes; performs support, development and administrative activities; and provides on-call duty as required to support department 7x24x365 applications. Other duties as assigned. This is a hybrid position, with some telecommuting permitted.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent as determined by credentials evaluation and three (3) years of experience in database development (MS SQL or Teradata). Experience must include: building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and the physical and logical design of database architecture. Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent as determined by credentials evaluation to offset two (2) years of the stated experience requirement.

Salary: $33.46 - $51.03 per hour

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $33.46

Maximum hourly: $51.03
