MetroHealth Coordinator Simulation Center - Medical Simulation Training in CLEVELAND, Ohio

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8:00a - 4:30p

Summary:

Coordinates activities in support of the MetroHealth Simulation Institute. Assists the Director with coordination and administration of all simulation programs including those involving system-wide "All-Hazards" emergency response, physician faculty, nursing, graduate medical education, CME/CE, students, pre-hospital personnel, support staff and external course offerings. Provides support for daily operations of the simulation center. Responds quickly and effectively to program demands and deadlines. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required:

Meets one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, and relevant experience.

  • Associate degree with three years of experience in program support, other training education programs, or related program coordination experience.

  • High school diploma or equivalent with five years of experience in program support, other training education programs, or related program coordination experience.

Experience with electronic databases and proficiency in data management.

Computer literate with proficiency in e-mail and Microsoft programs to include TEAMS, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently and anticipate program needs.

Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred: Experience in a health care environment. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of standardized patient methodology.

Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
