Pioneer, a Waste Connections Company, has an immediate position available for a Scale Attendant at our location in Clackamas, OR.

The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm. The starting pay for this position is $21-$23/HR .

Responsibilities Include:

• Weighing 3rd party customers in and out of the site

• Recording vehicle weights in computer system

• Answering incoming calls

• Greeting truck drivers in a friendly manner

• Trouble shoot any issues the drivers may have

• Providing manifests to drivers to ensure loads are compliant with state and federal laws

• Scheduling appointments for incoming materials

• Inspecting incoming containers for damage and taking pictures

• Perform all other administrative duties as assigned

• Clearly communicating with coworkers via radio

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a huge plus.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of work experience. Preferably in a position where you utilize customer service skills.

• The ability to sit and stand throughout an 8 hr shift.

• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.

• Ability to multi-task and clearly communicate with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment

• Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
