We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in the northern suburbs. As an integral part of our team, you will oversee GL accounting, supervise a team of two, and be able to work with a great accounting team. This role will also require you to possess a collaborative mindset and a degree in accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger accounting activities to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Supervise a team of two, providing guidance and support in their roles

• Bring a collaborative approach to work, fostering strong relationships within the team

• Leverage your extensive experience (7+ years) in accounting to drive efficiency and effectiveness

• Ensure accounting activities comply with financial regulations and standards

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports

Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting management role.

• Proficiency in NetSuite is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.

• Deep understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

• Ability to strategize and solve complex technical issues.

• Certification such as CPA is preferred.

• Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus.
