Job Description

A top consumer goods company is seeking a hybrid Health, Environment, and Safety (HES) Engineer position in Cincinnati, Ohio. This hybrid role involves both onsite and remote work, depending on operational needs. The engineer will be responsible for data collection (including electrical, gas, steam, and waste usage), handling write-off requests, completing federal and regulatory reports, investigating spills, and driving environmental improvement projects. Additionally, they'll create PowerPoint presentations related to spill investigations and safety protocols. The role also includes overseeing wastewater practices, maintaining ISO certification, managing third-party relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Skills and Requirements

3 + years of Hazard Waste Experience

Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or any relative field

Experience in Industrial Manufacturing Waste Water experience

Knowledge of safety protocols (OSHA, FDA, EPA, MSD & Federal/State/Local Standards)
