Glo Fiber Direct Sales Representative in Chillicothe, Ohio

About the Role:

Direct Sales Representatives (DSR's) have a detailed understanding of the products and services offered by Glo Fiber to present solution recommendations to our customers while promoting products and services with a positive sales approach via face-to-face, door-to-door selling.

Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) provides broadband services through its high speed, state-of-the-art fiber-optic and cable networks to customers in seven contiguous states in the eastern United States. Shentel's services include: broadband internet, video, and voice, high-speed Ethernet, dark fiber leasing, and managed network services. The Company owns an extensive regional network with approximately 15,400 route miles of fiber.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide a customer experience catered to each and every customer while recommending solutions based on customers' specific needs.
  • Assist customers in the selection and purchase of products and services.
  • Effectively communicate product and service information, feature functionality, billing procedures and equipment usage to each customer.
  • Demonstrate full understanding of current marketing campaigns and offerings and have the ability to communicate them clearly to customers.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or 2+ years equivalent experience in a sales environment required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Reliable transportation and active auto insurance required.
  • Willing to work flexible schedule including late afternoons, evenings, and some weekends.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in operating personal computer, various software packages and miscellaneous office equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and listening skills.

Physical Requirements:

Light work: Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Even though the weight lifted may be very little, a job is in this category when it requires a good deal of walking or standing, or when it involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls. To be considered capable of performing a full or wide range of light work, you must have the ability to do substantially all of these activities. If someone can do light work, we determine that he or she can also do sedentary work, unless there are additional limiting factors such as loss of fine dexterity or inability to sit for long periods of time.
