A leader in renewable energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in Chicago, IL. This is a HYBRID role, working remotely 2 days per week.

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be acting as a consultant for power project developers for electric utilities and T&D projects. You will evaluate the engineering needs and provide studies and reports for investors, lenders, and planning groups. As Senior Electrical Engineer, you should understand the design needs of utility-scale projects and financial projections. You will work to manage the project and utility portfolio and work to improve aging infrastructure and grid modernization. This role requires client-facing and technical support. so you must have excellent organization and communication skills.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering although a master's or MBA is preferred. You should also have at least 5 years in the power industry overseeing design projects, project development, and owner 's-side tasks.
