Help at Home RCM Support Specialist in Chicago, Illinois

Job Summary:

Overall responsibility for the Support Specialist function within the RCM team. Perform accounting, clerical and support duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of RCM needs. This in- person position working at the Chicago Corporate Help at Home Office and main responsibility is daily deposits and reviewing A/R checks. This position is Monday- Friday 8am-5pm CST.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily deposits for corporate office

  • Review incoming A/R checks for appropriate bank account.

  • Save appropriate documents in the designated folders daily and update logs accordingly.

  • Scan documentation received onsite and determine appropriate party or area to be notified.

  • Process credit card and ACH payments.

  • Retrieve and save 835 payment files and EOBS from payer websites.

  • Assist with annual audit of receivables

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrates maturity and the ability to function as a team member, good communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Understanding of accounting concepts and procedures

  • 1-2 years accounts receivable and deposits

  • Organization, prioritization, and time management skills
