Position Overview
The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Psychologist III for the Kiley Developmental Center located in Waukegan, Illinois to serve as a team leader to designated interdisciplinary (ID) habilitation teams by assigning cases to other professionals, monitoring other professionals\' work and providing guidance to other professionals. Integrates, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the implementation of Individual Program Plans. Provides psychological/behavioral services to assigned treatment teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Serves as a team leader to designated ID (Interdisciplinary) habilitation teams by assigning cases to other professionals, monitoring other professionals\' work and providing guidance to other professionals.
- As the team leader of a designated professional treatment team, directs, monitors and evaluates the work of the team.
- Assumes responsibility for a caseload, including cases of an advanced complexity level.
- Provides guidance and direction to ID team members in the implementation of behavioral procedures to modify individuals behavior.
- Serves as liaison with the consulting physician.
- Proposes initial medication reduction plan and participates in habilitation team efforts in monitoring progress of and revising medication reduction plans for individuals on psychotropic medication.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Work Hours:8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday and 1 weekend per month; 1 late shift (12:00pm - 8:30pm) and 1 early shift (6:00am - 3:00pm) per month
