About this role
SpiderRock Advisors, LLC (“SRA”), headquartered in Chicago, IL, is rapidly growing technology-enabled provider of portfolio enhancement solutions to the wealth management and institutional allocator segments of the $80 trillion global asset management industry. SRA specializes in the design and implementation of customized derivative enhancement and overlay strategies and other alternative strategies for wealth managers and their clients. Many prominent investment advisors and have adopted the SRA platform to have access to its innovative portfolio enhancement strategies, thus driving its growth in assets under management.
SRA is actively looking for a Junior Product Manager who will work with our Head of Product and Development team to contribute to the growth and success internal and external facing tools.
What you will do:
Product Development Support: Assist in the development and enhancement of our internal and external facing web portal. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements. QA test and quality control ongoing product releases.
Project Management: Support project planning and execution for product development initiatives. Coordinate tasks and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain product documentation, including specifications and user guides. Prepare regular reports on product development progress and outcomes.
Customer Support: Providing training and education to our external facing portal users. Provide assistance to customers by addressing inquiries and issues related to our products. Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs. Assist in gathering SRA internal and external customer feedback to inform product improvements.
What SpiderRock Is Looking For:
MUST HAVE knowledge of financial services and/or industry experience in Wealth/Asset Management. Options/Derivative experience a plus.
BA/BS Degree
Project management experience
Ability to review and analyze information from multiple sources and determine relevancy.
Independently identify issues, analyze problems and provide viable solutions
Demonstrate creative problem-solving and solid judgment/decision-making
Ability to multi-task effectively and leverage internal resources
Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skills
Experience with Salesforce a plus
For Chicago, IL Only the salary range for this position is USD$112,000.00 - USD$140,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
