Lead Infrastructure Consultant (Professional Services)

Job Details:Lead the design, planning and execution of complex technical implementations for Infrastructure projects. Plan and lead the analysis of performance & scalability engineering improvements initiatives. Implement application runtime platform system migrations for production use. Participate in complex implementations of pipeline design and automation in the cloud ecosystem. Advise clients on the selection of appropriate tools and patterns for deployment automation, observability, infrastructure automation, and cloud services. Build and maintain resilient systems with automated detection and remediation of security issues. Plan and implement strategies for package management, user management, service management, and implement appropriate tooling. Implement best Infrastructure practices as part of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery process. Coach and mentor team members on Agile Development Best Practices including Continuous Integration, Pair Programming, Test Driven Development, secure coding, security in pipeline and Re-factoring. Build and shape internal cloud and infrastructure practice through collaboration with business development, marketing, and capabilities development teams. Develop Infrastructure strategy and implementation for application and data security. Manage coordination across countries and time zones whenever project teams are distributed.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Will accept a single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas, professional credentials or professional experience determined to be equivalent by a qualified evaluation service.
Professional Experience: Must have 5 years of experience in the job offered, Consultant, Developer, or related IT position.
Must have at least thirty-six (36) months experience in:
- Automating infrastructure in at least one of the primary cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Must have at least twelve (12) months experience in:
- Playing a leading role in the design, planning and execution of complex technical implementations for Infrastructure as Code.
- Setting up key delivery infrastructure across the entire lifecycle of software, including Continuous Delivery pipelines and Observability tooling for production operations;
- Coaching and mentoring junior developers in all aspects of software development, including Agile development methodologies; and
- Working on projects with distributed teams, including coordinating across countries and time zones.
