Job Description

Governance and Oversight (G&O) is a first line of defense team which supports the Information Technology and Cyber Security Departments. The role will report directly to the Director, Cybersecurity and Technology within (G&O) and support Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) Management and work closely with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense (Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit). This role will be part of a dedicated team focusing on promoting control awareness and risk management within the US Region IT/IS organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational risk based program for Information Technology and Information Security

  • Lead control testing reviews utilizing sampling methodologies to identify assess control design and operating effectiveness

  • Support T&O Managers and other lines of defense

  • Collaborate with business units in developing and monitoring corrective action plans when responding to Audit, Compliance, or regulatory examination findings

  • Provide risk guidance in developing, reviewing and maintaining operational risk and compliance policies and procedures as it relates to Information Technology and Information Security

  • Manage day-to-day risk issues; design and implementation of new controls and special projects

  • Update and maintain a risk and control inventory remediating any gaps and inadequacies

  • Mentor, coach, and evaluate performance of other T&O Risk and Control Team members

  • Maintain awareness of regulatory changes across the industry, analyzing how the changes will affect the line of business, and creating a strategy to implement such changes.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Information Technology and Information Security experience required

  • Proficiency in information technology concepts and process flows and a general understanding of IT controls around security, change management, computer operations, database design, and IT operations management

  • Strong oral and written communication skills at all levels of an organization. Time management and organizational skills are required.

  • Data analysis and visualization skills using Excel and/or other analysis software
