Commercial Electrician

Job Description

We are in search of a licensed Wisconsin Journeyman to fill the position of Commercial Electrician. The role entails performing installations, modifications, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conduits, and related materials and equipment in the commercial and industrial electrical construction sectors. The position includes supervising other electricians to ensure the delivery of high-quality work within the stipulated timeframes, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary to support the team.

Hard Skills

• Possession of a Wisconsin Electrical License

• Experience with electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings

• Capability to engage in physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead

• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position for a term of 6 months.

Work Site

This position is entirely on-site in Antioch, Illinois.

Work Environment

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. The job involves a high risk of electrical shock, exposure to extreme weather conditions, and potentially hazardous situations. A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work is required. Trade school completion is preferred, and possession of an electrical license is advantageous.
