Job Title: Electrical/Instrumentation & Controls Designer

Job Description

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team as an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (E,I&C) designer for multiple Oil & Gas projects. This role involves designing E, I&C scope requiring the application of engineering principles and a familiarity with construction, installation, and maintenance procedures. You will independently create design deliverable packages using AutoCAD, while working with a discipline engineer/Project Manager. You will prepare layout, detail and sketch drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs requiring the application of practical design knowledge. Perform calculations to determine conduit & cable sizes, cable tray fill, and indoor/outdoor lighting levels with minimal input from the discipline engineer. Your role will also involve maintaining effective communication with project team members and with clients, vendors, and contractors. You will provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced designers in a non-supervisory role and perform preliminary QA/QC of Project Documents.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Englewood, Colorado and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid--can work out of the Westminister, Englewood or Casper WY office (may be required to go to Casper on rare occasion's)
