Oracle Staff Consultant in CHENNAI, India

Job Description

Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.

Experienced Oracle PL/SQL, JAVA, Webservices, Database, Oracle WebLogic & Banking Product Implementation Specialist

• Good experience in Oracle DB, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML and J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, OJET.• Ability to interact and communicate with client Business / IT Teams independently• Analyze solution approaches, estimations, best practices, project risks and recommendations.• Ability to understand client requirements and map them to ‘off-the-shelf’ products or product features to decide whether they would be more suitable than building a new system from scratch.• Lead technical team members in Development or Implementation or Managed Service activity.• Participate and lead, the project meetings and Product-Walkthrough workshops with the Customer.• Excellent analytical, presentation and communications skills, proven ability to translate business requirements into technology specifications.• Excellent knowledge of banking terminologies, concepts and processes• Good communication & documentation skills in English• Analyze solution approaches, estimations, best practices, project risks and recommendations.• Good Team handling skills• Plan, manage and communicate the progress of the project, achieving project milestones and maintaining momentum of the project• Utilize a mix of global resources within a matrix environment• Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks• Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions either as software solutions or as re-engineering initiatives• Quickly assesses customer needs, develops innovative plans to solve complex business workflow.

Responsibilities

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
