Jenny Bour with Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to join the finance team of a growing manufacturing company. The ideal AR & Credit Specialist candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and credit management. As an AR & Credit Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely collections, and maintaining customer credit limit files. This is a permanent opportunity and offers excellent benefits!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily bank deposits and ensure accurate recording of all transactions.

• Manage accounts receivable collections to ensure timely and efficient payment from customers.

• Maintain and update customer credit limit files, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

• Release credit holds as necessary, following established protocols and guidelines.

• Process credit card payments and ensure they are accurately recorded in the system.

• Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging and take appropriate actions to address overdue accounts.

• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and provide excellent customer service.

• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of credit and collection processes.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting field.

• Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.
