Job Description

A Client of Insight Global's is actively looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team onsite in Chattanooga, TN. This Electrical Engineer will be working on new product developments with new projects coming in from various different clients. A big portion of this role will be to source new components in efforts to get aligned with new programs/technologies and simplifying interfaces to ensure things are up to date. Another large portion of this role will be providing electrical drawings per machine getting built, assisting in electrical cabinets/wiring, and providing component specifications. This individual will report directly to the Director of Operations and work alongside an experienced Controls Engineer.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering

• 2-5+ years of experience within electrical engineering

• Experience designing electrical systems using CAD (or related) software - Masters' Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics

• Experience within the carpet industry null
