We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves handling payroll duties and HR-related tasks within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process biweekly payroll, while also providing backup for weekly payroll

• Oversee job coding for payroll, ensuring each role is correctly classified

• Handle HR-related duties as required, working closely with the HR department

• Use company specific software, becoming proficient in its application in payroll tasks

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to streamline payroll administration

• Handle 401k - RRSP Administration, ensuring all employee contributions and matches are processed accurately

• Manage certified payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

• Oversee payroll for a large number of employees, maintaining efficiency and accuracy

• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, providing excellent customer service

• Continually update and maintain accurate payroll records for all employees.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll administration role

• Experience in administering 401k and RRSP plans

• Knowledge of Certified Payroll processes

• Strong skills in payroll processing and management

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability.
