4 - Temporary Landscaping/Lighting Workers from 10/01/2024-12/20/2024 All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described and must be available the entire period specified. Temporary full-time seasonal position. Landscaping install decorative seasonal lighting around residential homes. Remove fall debris such as leaves, etc. May lift and/or sustain up to 50lbs. and activities pertain landscape/groundskeeping as per OES 37-3011; M-F 7AM-5PM Hrs/Wage may vary due to climate, outdoors exposed to weather. OJT No minimal ed. Exp. reqd. All work done w/ employer provided tools, supplies, equipment w/o charge or deposit to worker. TRANSPORT TO/FROM JOB LOCATION PROVIDED BY EMPLOYER ON DAILY WORKDAYS AT NO COST TO WORKER. Begin in Charlotte, NC and continue into multiple surrounding counties. Wage$23.50/hr OT$35.25/hr. Transport/subsistence reimbursed (by first paycheck) cost from place worker came to work for employer, whether in U.S. or abroad, to place of employment. Employer will take incremental deductions out each paycheck (not to fall below fed min.) recoup transport costs pd in 1st workweek paycheck. Once worker completes 50% of employment period, transport costs (most efficient carrier cost), and subsistence costs reimbursed worker. Upon completed work contract or where worker dismissed early, employer provides or pay reasonable costs return transport/ subsistence home or to place worker originally departed to work, except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer. Amount of transport payment or reimbursement will be equal most economical/reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence provided rate $15.88/day during travel to max of $59/day w/ receipts. 3/4 Guarantee: If legally enforceable, worker will be offered employment for total number work hrs equal to at least 3/4 (26.25/hrs.per wk) workdays of each 12-wk period. Employer provides tools, supplies/equip. w/o charge/deposit. a single workweek as standard to compute wages due. Wage pd every week. All deductions reqd. by law done by employer. Employer helps locate lodging by supplying list one or more public accommodation options, cost varies by location. Workers not reqd. to stay such housing. Employer will pay cost of lodging to extent reqd. by law. Will reimburse H-2B worker first workweek paycheck for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, to extent reqd. by law, including fees mandated by U.S. govt. incurred by H-2B worker, not including passport or other fees not primarily for benefit of employer.
