Wells Fargo Credit Sales and Trading Business Manager in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Reporting directly to the Credit Sales and Trading COO, the Credit Business Manager position will serve in a horizontal function as part of the Credit Sales and Trading team. The Business Manager will provide ongoing day-to-day support for desk-related activities within the Credit Sales and Trading desks and COO organization. This role acts as an extension of the COOs and leaders in all things related to business strategy, infrastructure, expenses, technology, operations, compliance, and change management.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with peers in the Credit COO team to help ensure seamless execution on key deliveries, including problem solving, trouble shooting, issues management, team communications, etc.

  • Partner with desk leaders to help execute on business initiatives including identifying areas in need for investment/focus, prioritization of efforts, budgeting, planning etc.

  • Serve as the liaison between the Business and various support partners, driving accountability across all internal functions supporting the businesses.

  • Assist with RCSA, LOB Audits, Testing and Validation Engagements, Corrective Action Remediation and Regulatory Requests that are relevant to Credit Sales and Trading.

  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that key business controls are properly stood up, executing as intended, and are documented appropriately.

  • Work with key vendors overseeing relationships, service levels, and on-going contract negotiations. Assist in approval and payment processing of invoices for key vendors.

  • Identify ways to increase efficiencies within Credit Sales and Trading and help drive the execution of those items.

  • Assist in the creation of visual representations or analysis of data as required for the LOB (via PPT, Excel, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Capital Markets experience

  • Experience in Capital Markets business management, middle office, controls, or finance.

  • Experience working with Credit Sales and Trading products is a plus

  • Experience or ability to lead large or small projects and deadline driven initiatives.

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

  • Analytical with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with immediate team and supporting partners
