Drive development and socialization of critical Marketing activation approaches, including those related to personalization; pricing, incentive, and offer considerations; learning agendas and other testing-related artifacts; high- and low-level channel and product marketing related strategies and use cases; audience and client development; experience and other value proposition opportunities; competitive intelligence; and other general business support. Help support strategic planning and related processes and disciplines. Focus on delivering the thought leadership that will drive results in-market, in collaboration with key partners across the enterprise, including other stakeholders within Marketing; LOB (product and channel); Finance; Risk, and Operations. The role influences senior marketing and business leaders in order to bring consensus for ideas and ensures that the work is adopted and utilized consistently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive expert, compelling Marketing narratives and related materials development that enhance our overall Marketing strategies and enable growth in core outcomes across the business.

  • Socialize and communicate key narratives to critical stakeholders across the enterprise, including executives and other senior leaders.

  • Help develop marketing strategies intended to achieve operational and financial results using all marketing channels including digital.

  • Collaborate to help manage process and structure around strategic Marketing planning, including routines, artifacts, analytic connections between goals, programs and tactics, and related deliverables.

  • Work with team to help manage overall inventory of analytic data signals and other decision intelligence, including prioritization of and requirements for new development.

  • Develop requirements for new reporting capabilities across the team and help project manage execution of canned and self-serve solutions that support overall and audience-related Marketing outcomes.

  • Monitor client needs and competitive market place, and provides ongoing marketing support that ensures the competitiveness of offered products and services.

  • Lead highly complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity while Managing deliverables for the team against expected results, and work horizontally across teams and stakeholders to ingest and incorporate differing points of view and requirements.

  • Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.

  • Make leadership decisions within established policies, procedures, and established objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training

  • Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline; sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes managing a process

  • Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking product and/or segment marketing experience

  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services

  • Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure, in addition to leading a team of professionals

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities

  • Sophisticated understanding of clients through interpretation and user research and analytics

  • Strong relationship building skills resulting in the ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective

  • Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry

  • Strong presentation skills and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in related field

  • Fifteen years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
