Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper in Charlotte, North Carolina, to provide significant administrative and clerical support for our team. The role demands an individual with a strong understanding of legal billing and bookkeeping, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of client invoices and promptly address billing questions and issues.

• Undertake general bookkeeping activities to maintain financial records.

• Process client payments meticulously and efficiently.

• Assist with accounts payable to ensure timely payment of invoices.

• Use technologies such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to carry out bookkeeping tasks.

• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Reconcile accounts and perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

• Provide back-up reception support, including answering phones and greeting visitors.

• Assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks as needed.

• Perform clerical duties and ensure the office is well-stocked and organized. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Bookkeeper

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping

• Demonstrated capability in Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with QuickBooks is essential

• Ability to perform Clerical Duties effectively

• Experience in Legal Billing is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation.
