Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Family Law Attorney to join our busy law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advocating for clients facing various family law issues. This position requires an active attorney license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, alimony, adoption, and domestic violence cases.

2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of complex family law issues.

3. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements.

4. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.

5. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel throughout the legal process.

6. Manage a caseload efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

7. Stay updated on changes in family law regulations and precedents in North Carolina.

   Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Active attorney license in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.

3. Minimum of 1+ years of experience practicing family law, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

7. Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client advocacy.
