Job Summary

As a Business Development Sales Engineering Manager specializing in university and large accounts, you'll be at the forefront of our strategic initiatives, working closely with our sales and operations team to navigate complex technical challenges and drive revenue growth. Your role will be pivotal in nurturing relationships with universities and large accounts, ensuring seamless pre and post-sales technical support while driving adoption of new products and services.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Large Accounts Expertise:

  • Forge and maintain relationships with universities and large multifamily developers and owners, serving as the primary technical point of contact.

  • Collaborate with local Sales Engineers and Account Executives to identify opportunities and drive new sales.

  • Conduct region-led business reviews and product sales meetings at universities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide guidance and direction to regional Sales Engineers, facilitating the launch of new tools, products, and sales strategies.

  • Design and lead training programs to foster team growth and development.

  • Act as a conduit between internal corporate teams, regional sales engineering teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless installation of products and infrastructure.

Property-Level Demands:

  • Address property-level demands stemming from the exponential growth of multifamily units, providing technical expertise and support as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address escalations and mid-contract changes, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in sales engineering, with a focus on large accounts and complex technical solutions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree

Relevant Work Experience

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $118,378.60 - $177,567.90

Additional Range: This job can be performed in California, and Washington with a Pay Range of $112,997.76 - $201,781.71

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
