The Walt Disney Company Senior Manager, Programming & Production in Celebration, Florida

The Sr. Manager Integrated Content Production will have a thorough overview of jobs produced by the Content & Integrated production department within the Yellow Shoes Agency for Disney Experiences.

This working leader guides a small team responsible for managing various productions throughout the entire process from concepting, planning, budgeting through execution and delivery. This role serves as the primary communication liaison between Yellow Shoes Content / Integrated Production Team and Production companies / Editorial Houses / Postproduction VFX / Audio Mix / Color Correction and Finish.

This role will prioritize focus on identifying and sourcing diverse production partners: ensuring that vendors, the agency engages, have appropriate representation on their director roster and are committed to crewing with diverse talent.

The Sr. Manager Integrated Content Production will report to the Director, Content & Integrated Production.

Responsibilities

  • A working leader leading all aspects of productions and a team of producers charged with leading productions.

  • Responsible for sourcing resources with expertise in all parts of post-production (Editorial, VFX, Mix and Color Correction).

  • Role will develop and expand agencies resources with regards to music creation and composition.

  • Identifying the best talent and exposing that talent to the YS Production and Creative team.

  • This role will lead update and Production Resources Database so the entire team will always have the most up to date creative / production rosters, resources, and contacts.

  • This position will be the key liaison between the Content / Integrated production department and internal partners (creative, account, project management, business affairs).

  • This role will also be available to guide creative in development to review appropriate language and representation is consistent with that of our audience.

  • This position will report to the Director, responsible for leading all aspects of the team charged with, developing truly integrated productions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in digital / new media / social content & video production, large production crews, media networks, or advertising agencies.

  • Experience in various production media including video, photography, and post-production (Graphics, Animation, Visual Effects).

  • Proficient understanding of the latest innovative technology.

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Very well organized.

  • Oversee Producers leading jobs with high profile production shoots with various budgets ($5K<; <$2M).

  • Managing partners charged with performing creative content and new ideas.

  • Validated experience and a strong understanding of content development across various media platforms.

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the creative process.

  • Ability to develop and implement complex production solutions.

  • Proven budget and scheduling leadership skills.

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Adapt to the constantly evolving digital environment of advertising/marketing production.

  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and travel.

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage confidential information.

  • Reel of completed work required (Link Preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of our Disney Parks & Resort’s brand and processes.

  • Strong partnering skills with internal partners.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Experience in licensing music, clips, and developing clearances reports.

  • Non-Union experience; SAG AFTRA / DGA / IATSE productions a plus.

  • Understanding working knowledge with Business Affairs, Standards & Practices, and / or Legal.

  • Experience with Marketing or Advertising agency.

  • Experience as a Director, Director of Photography, 1st AD, Editor, or Animator / Graphics Designer a plus.
