Description We are in search of a Business Systems Analyst in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves strategic business planning and coordination across various business areas, with a focus on organizational readiness to drive successful outcomes. The position is remote and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Update strategic planning templates and communications to ensure clear business goals.

• Collaborate with management to update strategic initiatives and assigned strategic dashboards/tracking mechanisms.

• Support strategic planning processes priorities capabilities measures of success etc., ensuring timely inputs/outputs.

• Identify integrations and establish contacts across the organization to align efforts and plan implementation.

• Assist with escalated issues on priorities goals strategies resources and key initiatives to ensure efficient resolution.

• Prepare presentations for delivery to specific audiences, tailoring content to audience needs and understanding.

• Coordinate input from leaders across assigned business area to document holistic business cases, including impacts and end-to-end needs.

• Use your communication, planning, project management, and implementation skills to influence others towards strategic goals.

• Apply your knowledge of insurance and financial services to analyze and solve strategic planning issues.

• Use project management tools and MS Office tools to manage and track strategic planning tasks. Requirements • Demonstrable experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role

• Strong proficiency in creating dashboards and templates

• Proven expertise in planning, project management, and strategic planning

• Knowledge and experience in the insurance and financial services sectors

• Proficient in workstation support, system implementation, and integration

• Ability to prepare presentations and communicate key initiatives effectively

• Experience in QA management and understanding of NIS

• Proficiency in creating and implementing strategic goals and tactics

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong ability to prepare and present business plans

• Proficient in handling financial notes and related documentation
