Hours: 36

Shift : Fri/Sat/Sun 0700-1930, 1-2 call shifts per week

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Castle Rock

The role you’ll contribute:

• Maintains supply inventory and restocks to maintain proper operating levels

• Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment, while manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams

• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures

• Performs routine and complex studies, in addition to assisting with a variety of imaging procedures

• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations

• Collects and maintains patient treatment records and data

• Conducts pre-treatment and post-treatment patient evaluations to ensure adequate preparation

• May be required to maintain quality insurance for ICAEL

• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications :

· Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

· Diagnostic Sonographer Credentialing accepted from:

· American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), and

· Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and

· Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS)

· OR

· Echocardiography – Adult

· Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or

· Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

· OR

· Echocardiography-Fetal

· Fetal Echocardiography (FE)

· OR

· Echocardiography – Pediatric

· Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) (RDCS) or

· Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)

· OR

· Vascular Ultrasound

· Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or

· Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
