Hiring for Production Worker in Canton, MI.

Paying - $17 - $17.76/H

Description:

We are looking to add 2 production operators to their team. They will be placed in the Hot Stamping or Laser Operating departments. The best candidate will possess the following skills:

• Making sure the machine operations are accurate

• Lifting the finished pieces from the machine and into a bin or rack (15-20 pounds)

• Check the work pieces making sure they are accurate

• Following general instructions to perform production smoothly

1st Shift 6:10AM - 2:30PM - ($17.00)

2nd Shift 2:10 PM - 10:30PM - ($17.46)

3rd Shift 10:10 PM - 6:30 AM - ($17.76)

(40-48 hours weekly)

Monday - Friday (working some Saturdays for a full day, normal shift times. Candidates will know this ahead of time)

20-minute lunch (unpaid)

10-minute break (paid)

ATTENDANCE

This is crucial at GNS, they have a very strict 2-point policy. Must get approval on days off by asking your supervisor in advance. The first point is a warning, and the 2nd point results in termination. If a candidate will not be in there, they MUST call the attendance line and let us know. There is a train that runs in the area that causes a lot of issues, but there is a route around the train, so candidates are not late.

1a). Candidates need to have at least 6 months within a production/manufacturing environment where they are measured on production metrics throughout their shift

2). Steel Toed Boots/Shoes
