Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Campbell, California. In this role, you will be tasked with tracking and monitoring accounts receivable, negotiating payment plans, and performing administrative duties. This position is within the telecom industry and is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring accounts receivable and contact debtors about outstanding obligations

• Sending out notices to overdue accounts and negotiating payment plans and timelines

• Performing administrative duties including data entry, processing, and recording transactions

• Updating account status records and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements

• Acting as a mediator for disputes between creditors and debtors

• Working closely with the legal department to prepare files and coordinate legal action where necessary

• Reporting on collection activity and accounts receivable status

• Utilizing various skills such as Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, and others

• Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience as a Collections Specialist

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of Accurint software

• Experience in using Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Familiar with IBM AS/400 system

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Able to perform Billing Functions effectively

• Understand Collection Processes and the role of a Collector

• Knowledge of Credit procedures and regulations

• Excellent Customer Service skills
