Social Services Coordinator (CV548-2) - Homeless Services Division
We want to hire a Social Services Coordinator to join our highly dynamic and growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation of program plans, activities and functions of the Housing and Supportive Services Project funded by HUD
A critical responsibility of this position is to ensure adequate funding is in place to continue service delivery either through HUD McKinney Grant renewal or through other funding sources
Carry out duties in accordance with HUD grant requirements and the Agency policies and procedures
Coordination of internal and external resources to ensure the clients receive the supportive services necessary to achieve their highest potential for independence and self-sufficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree in Human Services OR related field plus five years of relevant experience
OR Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of relevant experience
Competent computer skills are required
Ability and willingness to travel
A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Volunteers of America Delaware Valley standards
Knowledge in Elder Care Services and Disability Services
Knowledge of HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) regulations in particular as it relates to New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to facilitate trainings and presentations
