Posting Summary
The site coordinator for the Youth Inclusion Initiatives will be responsible for 1) Recruitment and retention of program participants; 2) Serving as the liaison with the NJ DEP, ensuring all program requirements are met; 3) Securing spaces on campus and within the community for participant activities, if needed; 4) Administrative oversight - managing student records, transportation, purchasing supplies and materials, processing stipends and assisting students with any obstacles and barriers that may impact participation; 5) Supervision of program participants and monitoring participant activities; 6) Connecting with Camden city businesses, community-based organizations, and stakeholders to develop Camden city specific programming throughout the program and work with NJ DEP to design and implement a professional job training program; 7) Overseeing evaluation and provide formal feedback to NJ DEP; 8) Assist participants with end-of-summer showcase

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Requires a minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in an administrative and/or supervisory function, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy.
- OR -
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience in the discipline. A master's degree in a specialized discipline may be required, particularly in research, project management or managerial positions.
Requires a minimum of five years experience and/or increasing functional responsibility in a leadership/managerial role. With a master's degree requirement, a minimum of three years of related experience is acceptable.
*Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be knowledgeable about the city of Camden, experience working with youth and engaging in community driven projects. Administrative experience and ability to pass a background check required. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
