Posting Summary
Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a seasonal full-time custodian for housing. The housing custodian performs the following in university housing: cleans, disinfects, dusts, strips, scrubs, waxes, and buffs floors, walls, ceilings, lighting fixtures, rooms, toilets, vanities, showers, kitchens, appliances, furniture, window treatments, laundry rooms, computer labs, study lounges, offices, stairwells, trash rooms, mechanical rooms, and any other interiors of buildings; removes all waste materials; shampoos carpeting, shampoos upholstery; washes windows; delivers supplies and furniture to locations. Assist mechanical, custodial and OHRL staff will projects. Performs related duties as required.
This position is hiring for 5 vacancies.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
For entry-level positions, no experience is required.

Requires a high school/vocational school education or equivalent experience.
*May also require a valid driver's license and two years driving experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
No experience required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Fast pace environment, able to work independently and in a team environment, be able to lift heavy machines, use of cleaning equipment.
