Behavioral Health Specialist - NDP (CV2343-3) - Specialized Services Division
We are looking for a Behavioral Health Specialist - NDP to join our highly successful and growing team.
The successful candidate will report to the Program Director and will consult routinely with the Brain Association of Pennsylvania to coordinate brain injury interdisciplinary team approach to support the clients.
The responsibilities are treatment in function, and ensuring consumers receive appropriate brain injury services based on assessed needs, and support the overall treatment component of the program.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field with three to five years clinical experience with medically/socially complex and dually diagnosed individuals, brain injury/neuropsychological experience preferred.
Current licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor/Psychologist.
Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
Once hired, you will be required to achieve certification from the ACBIS (American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists) within the first 18 months of employment and maintain annual certification requirements.
Ability to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of neurocognitive impairments and resulting behavior.
Exceptional verbal and written communications, interpersonal and organization skills.
Computer skills required.
Valid driver's license and the ability to meet Volunteers of America standards.
