We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Operations Support Technician at our Cambridge, ON facility.

This role entails overseeing the daily operations of receiving, inspecting, and shipping equipment, managing inventory, requisitioning supplies, and reconciling costs for Nuclear Services, both domestically and internationally. This includes managing the rental cost of equipment and reconciling expenses for equipment not returned.his is your chance to be at the forefront of our operations, playing a pivotal role in ensuring seamless equipment management from start to finish, both nationally and globally.

Your Responsibilities:

Equipment Management Excellence:

  • Receive and inspect tooling/equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness against supporting documents.

  • Skillfully manage our inventory database, meticulously documenting each addition.

  • Conduct incoming inspections as needed and allocate storage or staging locations efficiently.

Strategic Proposal Estimation:

  • Collaborate on equipment selection, leveraging your insights to inform decision-making.

  • Assess equipment availability and associated costs, providing crucial input for project planning.

  • Prepare comprehensive lists of required equipment for purchase or rental, ensuring seamless project support.

Efficient Site Execution:

  • Prepare and review equipment pick lists, optimizing staging locations for maximum efficiency.

  • Coordinate transportation logistics, recommending the most cost-effective delivery methods.

  • Oversee packaging and shipment documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Thorough Project Reconciliation:

  • Facilitate equipment return from projects, meticulously verifying contents against shipment records.

  • Conduct comprehensive reconciliations of returned equipment, preparing necessary documentation and journal entries.

Ideal candidates for this role should possess:

  • A college diploma in Material Management, Mechanical Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Previous experience in receiving, inspection, shipping, and inventory management.

  • Familiarity with account reporting processes.

  • Certification or training in operating material handling equipment.

  • Knowledge of engineered products, mechanical tooling, fittings, parts, and materials used in the Nuclear Industry.

The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[61,000]] and $[[79,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
