Division of a global manufacturer going through tremendous growth seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Engineer to join their engineering team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects, from design to commissioning to troubleshooting PLCs, Motors, drives, etc. This role requires a technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Design & Engineering: Develop electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts for new and existing manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, production managers, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into manufacturing processes.
System Integration: Oversee the integration of electrical components, systems, and control panels into production lines or equipment, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for electrical issues in production, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for electrical designs, changes, and project progress reports. Prepare detailed specifications, drawings, and manuals for system installation, maintenance, and operation.
Budget & Scheduling: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and create project timelines to meet manufacturing deadlines.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment procurement, installation, and troubleshooting support as required.
Testing & Commissioning: Conduct system testing and commissioning to verify functionality, performance, and compliance with design specifications.
