Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated forklift operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will start as a Shipper/ Receiver and Order Picker in our new facility, where they will operate a sit-down counterbalance in a narrow aisle room and handle loading/ unloading of trailers. The role involves heavy lifting of up to 50 lb. Strong attention to detail is needed for the verification of all orders using RF scanners. The role involves 60% forklift operation for loading and unloading trailers, and 40% manual work, which includes picking products, checking paperwork for orders, checking shipment orders for accuracy, breaking pallets, palletizing, and wrapping/ unwrapping pallets. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for handling paperwork. The percentage of forklift operation can vary based on the day and the building they are working in.

Skills

• 2 years of sit-down counterbalance forklift experience

• Experience working in narrow spaces - Trailers (Load/ Unload), narrow aisles etc.

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs

• Proficient in using RF scanners

Shift

• Day shift 5 am - 1:30 pm

• Afternoon shift 2 pm - 10:30pm

• Must work weekends

• Shift is not transit accessible

• Comfortable working Overtime

Pay

• $20/ hour to start with potential to grow based on performance
