Job Description:

Position Overview:

This role is responsible to develop & maintain action-based data reporting tools in support of various merchandising activities. Communicate findings to cross-functional business partners to support fact-based decision making that positively impacts company financials. This role is focused on driving the category review process with category management, OwnBrands, and merchandising leadership.

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Communicate effectively to achieve buy-in from cross-functional leaders within category review process.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings in support of category review process.

  • Partnerwith category managers to deliver an excellent product portfolio to retail and wholesale customers.

  • Partner with shelf implementation and execution teams to inform total store reset process.

  • Performbusiness or statistical analysis to formulate data-driven recommendations that help the company achieve financial goals.

  • Assist with strategic initiative work relating to micro & macro space planning.

  • Develop standard, recurring, and ad-hoc reports for management and/or the department in an efficient and effective manner. 

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in dynamic retail and wholesale environment to drive positive business outcomes.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. 

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related area. 

  • Minimum of three years combined experience in merchandising, data analytics, project management or related area.

  • Experience with SQL and report writing preferred. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Strong organizational, prioritization and attention to detail skills.  

  • Strong mathematical aptitude, financial acumen, and analytical skills.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
