SUMMARY This position is in the accounting department of a national distributor in Butler, PA. We are looking for someone with an accounting degree, (or similar degree with a concentration in accounting). Who is eager and able to learn the responsibilities of the position.
POSITION Responsibilities include: • Prepare property and sales tax filings and license renewals • Prepare journal entries and process payments • Assist with fix asset accounting • Bank and account reconciliation • Research information for audits • Generate reports
Work hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm. Pay around $20.00 an hour, with growth based on performance. Room for growth and advancement. The company offers benefits including healthcare, 401K plan and paid time off.
REQUIREMENTS • A degree in accounting or similar degree with a concentration in accounting • Strong math skills • Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills • Good analytical skills • Organized and detail oriented • Friendly, helpful and team oriented • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
