Job Title: Millwright

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team, where every day offers a new challenge. You will be responsible for general routine maintenance, oil changes, inspections on mobile equipment, minor electrical repairs, and maintenance on blackwater systems including toilets and sinks. Additional duties include handling boats, building pumps, and operating cranes for lifting boats. Expect a dynamic work environment with a variety of tasks.

Hard Skills

• 5 years in heavy duty or millwright in heavy industrial settings

• Expertise in overhauls

• 4+ years in troubleshooting

• Ability to lift 50 lbs often

• Proficient in reading blueprints

Soft Skills

• Strong safety orientation

• Ability to work independently and in a team

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Work Environment

Outdoor work in a yard located on a float. Strict adherence to PPE is required at all times. We have a very strong safety culture and require all team members to champion this cause. Work hours are from 6:30 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on weekends. There is a weekly rotating on-call system, averaging one on-call shift per week.

Wage

$49-$51/hr
